Cruise ship photo essay - Cunard Line - Queen Victoria - Queen Victoria Visits The Med
Back in Southampton from her journey,
Queen Victoria disembarks one set of
passengers and prepares to receive the next.
The only tender port during the voyage
was Split in Croatia.
Also in port were Costa Classica (left)
and Crown Princess (below).
The apex of the voyage was an overnight stay
in Venice, Italy. It was a homecoming of sorts
as Venice is where Queen Victoria was built.
After several sea days, Queen
Victoria arrived at the beautiful
Greek island of Cephalonia.
In Corfu, Queen Victoria
shared the cruise port
with the sailing ship Sea
Cloud and with Crystal
Serenity.
