Another distinct community on Getaway is
the Studio area. This area is for solo
travelers. All of the studio cabins are
designed for one person and priced for
single occupancy (no single supplement).
In addition, access to the Studio complex is
by key card.
The Studio area also includes its own
lounge with a bar. During the day,
breakfast items, juice, coffee and cookies
are available. In the afternoon, there is a
social hour hosted by a member of the
ship's activities staff. Guests staying in the
studios can - - but do not have to - -
participate in activities such as a group
outing to try the ship's ropes course. They
can also sign up to have dinner together in
the ship's main dining rooms or specialty
restaurants. These things help to make the
studios a community rather than just a
group of similar cabins.

All of the studio cabins are interior cabins on Decks 10 and 11.
Inside the studio area, the cabins are along a series of corridors
with a futuristic look (above).
The Studio cabins (right) are 99 to 131 sq. ft. They are designed
for efficiency but are comfortable for a single person. Amenities
include a flat screen television, a large bed and a one-way window
that gives a feeling of additional space. Each cabin has its own
bathroom facilities. However, the sink, shower and toilet area are
separated. The latter two are in their own enclosed spaces.
