Accommodations
Getaway's other accommodations fall
into four broad categories. Within each
category, there are different varieties of
stateroom each with its own spin on the
basic category concept.
The top of these categories is
Mini-Suites. These are larger than
balcony cabins and have a more
luxurious bathroom with a rain shower
with two bowl sinks.
The Midship Mini-suites with
balcony (above right) are 239 sq. ft.
Their features include a queen sized
bed, a 26 inch flat-screen TV, an
oversized shower with multiple jets, and
a double sink with two faucets. They
can sleep four people.
Also within this category are Spa
Mini-suites (right) with special access
to the ship's spa and Family-mini suites
(below), located near the kid's facilities
,
Always popular on any cruise ship are the Balcony cabins.
On Getaway, the basic balcony cabin is 207 sq. ft. These
cabins can accommodate up to four people.
Within this category, you also have Spa Balcony Cabins, again
with special access to the ship's spa (below left).
There are also accessible balcony cabins (below right).
Oceanview cabins give guests a view of the ocean at a
more affordable price. The Mid-ship Oceanview Cabin is
161 sq. ft. and accommodates two people (above).
Getaway also has 42 Family Oceanview cabins. These are
located near the kid's facilities. They sleep up to five and
have a double-sink bathroom, bathtub and a second
wardrobe.
Inside cabins are often the most affordable way for two
or more guests to set to sea. They have neither a balcony
nor a window but have many of the same features as
balcony and oceanview cabins.
On Getaway, they are 150 square feet. Their two beds
can be placed together to form a Queen size bed or left
separate. Within this category are also Family Inside
Staterooms.
