VIEWS OF THE PAST
In order to retain the ship's vitality, Crystal
Symphony has undergone two extensive refits.
The first was in 2006 and cost some $23
million. The second was in 2009 and cost
another $25 million. This page offers some
views of what certain areas of the ship looked
like not long after the 2006 refit.
The suites and staterooms
also recived a makeover.

Perhaps the most extensive change was to the
Pool area (above).
The Neptune Pool (below) was replaced by an
expanded seating area for th Trident Bar and
The specialty restaurants also
were changed. Prego (left)
received a facelift while the
Jade Garden (right) was
replaced by the Silk Road and
the Sushi Bar.
The Lido Cafe was also
changed extensively with new
seating and with stations
replacing the traditional buffet
