The Royal Theater is a state-of-the-art theater. The centerpiece offerings in this venue include
a full-length Broadway show (Mama Mia) and an avant garde music, sound and light show
developed for Quantum called "Sonic Odyssey" (below).
The Casino Royale is a large casino located
on Deck 3. The casino has its own bar, slot
machines, electronic gaming and traditional
gaming tables. Its decor, while still lively, is
more restrained and upmarket than the casinos
elsewhere in the fleet.

A new entertainment venue premiering on Quantum is
Two70. Located at the stern of the ship, this is a multi-level
space with floor-to ceiling windows that look out not just at
the stern but to port and starboard as well. This provides a
270 degree view hence the name. During the day, LED
panels perform video "Robot Shows" (left). In the evenings,
the room is used for virtual concerts and other shows. The

Another new concept on Quantum is the
Seaplex. This is a large enclosed space on
Quantum's upper decks. During the day, it
can be used for basketball, roller skating
and for activities such as a circus school.
However, the Seaplex is best known as the
home of Quantum's bumper cars. In the
evening, this space transforms into a disco

Yet another venue to debut on Quantum is the Music Hall. This lounge occupies
part of Decks 3 and 4. It is part New York style pub with bars on each level as well
as pool tables. However, it also has a large stage and dance area. This space can
be used for dance classes during the day and in the evening tribute bands perform
While the Esplanade is not used
as an entertainment venue to the
same extent as the Royal

ships, it is used for various
events such as appearances by
the Dreamworks characters.
The theater is also used for more conventional entertainment including 3-D movies and cruise ship favorites like the "Love
and Marriage Game" (below left). Visiting artists such as comedian Jim David (below center) and singers Marcus Terell &
