POOLS AND OPEN DECKS
Physical activity and "getting out
there" have long been Royal
Caribbean themes. Accordingly,
The Pool and Sports Zone is
a vast area covering most of the
top decks and various other
areas of the ship as well.
However, this area has been
divided so as to appeal to people
with varying tastes and
inclinations towards outdoor
The Pool Area is divided by the
canyon that forms Central Park some
six decks below. A bridge, the
Skywalk, between the two halves of the
superstructure serves to further divide
the area forward and aft. As a result,
the pool area is divided into four
quadrants, each with its own pool.
Aft on the starboard side is the H2O
Zone (right). A child's delight, it
features water spray cannons, umbrella
jets, ground gushers, waterfalls and
brightly colored sculptures.
For less strenuous activity there is Allure
Dunes, the ship's mini-golf course (above left).
Allure also has that traditional shipboard sport
shuffleboard (above right).
The Sports Court (left) is a full-sized
basketball court that can also be used for other
Ping pong is also available (below).
Allure's Jogging Track circles the ship on the open promenade deck
(above). One mile is 2.4 laps.
At the aft end of this deck are wooden deck chairs where passengers
can sit and watch the ship's wake (above right).

Allure has two of Royal Caribbean's signature Rock
Climbing Walls and two Florider Surfing Simulators.
Those looking for adventure can ride
the Zip Line, which stretches for 82
feet nine decks above the Boardwalk.
OF THE SEAS
For those seeking some adult time in the
sun, there is the Solarium, a glass
enclosed complex overlooking the bow
of the ship. Within this area is a
hydrotherapy pool, two large hot tubs,
numerous deck chairs, a bar and a café
that specializes in healthy dishes.
There is a variety of premium deck chairs and loungers
in the Solarium area.
Guests staying in Allure's suites have their
own exclusive sun deck, complete with a bar.
