QE2 DAILY
PROGRAMMES
The following are a selection of
Daily Programmes and other
documents distributed to passengers
about life on QE2. They have been
selected with an eye toward giving
the reader an idea of how life on
board changed over time as well as
on the various types of voyages
done by QE2.

When QE2 was a two-class ship, there were shows each
night in the Queens Room and in the room that is now
the Grand Lounge. However, as the class distinction
evaporated, passengers would just go to whatever show
they desired regardless of their cabin category. In more
recent times, the Queens Room features ballroom
dancing and the shows are in the Grand Lounge.

Commodore John Burton-Hall. The captain's
interview is done once a voyage on a sea day.
Captain Robin Woodall addressing a
welcome aboard reception. On a typical
voyage, there would be three such
receptions: one for the passengers dining
in the Grills and Caronia Restaurant and
one for each seating in the Mauretania
Restaurant.

In the late 1990s, a series of British Invasion rock
