PUBLIC AREAS AND
A substantial area on Deck 7 around the forward
atrium has been dedicated to shopping. Those
familiar with Princess ships will recognize the
shops Meridian Bay (jewelery and
accessories); Essence (beauty products);
Facets (luxury items); and Calypso Cove
Two new shopping venues on Royal Princess are:
Celebrations (left), which offers gifts for special
occasions such as roses, chocolates and flower
arrangements and Limelight (above), a
The Art Gallery (above left) not only offers works of art for sale but conducts art auctions and lectures. The Photo Gallery
(above right) offers cameras and accessories in addition to the souvenir photos and casual portraits taken aboard. A touch
screen photo finder uses face recognition software to help guests locate their pictures. More formal portraits can be done in
the Platinum Studio (below left). Guests can also arrange to be married in the Wedding Chapel (below right).
Royal Princess also has a popular Internet Café
(below). For those guests who want information in a
more traditional form, Royal Princess has the Library
Royal Princess has a large area dedicated to children
and young passengers. The supervised program is
divided into three are groups 3 to 7 years (Pelicans); 8
to 12 years (Shockwaves) and 13 to 17 years (Remix).

Each age group has its own area. The play areas right
and below are from the Pelicans area. Also in the
Pelicans area is a toddlers room for guests who are
under three years old.
