Royal Princess has a two
lane
jogging track (one
each of walkers and
runners) (left).  Along the
way, guests can stop at
various stations equipped
with exercise machines
(right).
Princess Sports Central, aft on decks 18 and 19, offers a variety of exercise options.  Its centerpiece is the Center
Court
, which can be set up for basketball, volleyball, tennis or badminton.  A portable batting cage can also be set up
for baseball fans.  Nearby are ping pong tables (top left) and golf driving nets (above left).  There is also a room with a
computerized shooting simulator where guests can use laser rifles for skeet shooting and target practice.
At the Lawn Court, guests can play various
lawn games including mini-golf.
There is an outdoor promenade on Deck 7 with
chairs and places to relax.  Unlike previous
Princess ships, the promenade does not go all the
way around the ship.
Royal Princess has two pool areas on her upper decks.

The forward pool area is the adults-only
Retreat Pool.  In
addition to the pool, this area has two hot tubs and a bar.
Around the perimeter of
the pool are cabanas with
premium seating, which
guests can reserve
(right).  Premium picnic
baskets are available for
dining in the cabanas.
The central pool area is known as the Fountain Pool.  Its
name comes from 85 jets of water that shoot upwards 33 feet
from the island that separates the main pool from a smaller
circular splash pool.   The jets of water are controlled so as to
produce displays of dancing water.  At night, colored lights
are shined on the fountains to produce an even more
spectacular effect.

The central pool area also has two hot tubs, two bars, a light
grill, a pizzeria and an ice cream stand.

Perhaps the most
outstanding feature of
the central pool area is
the
SeaWalk.  This 60
foot walkway extends
out some 28 feet from
the starboard side of
the ship.  From its
clear glass floor,
intrepid guests can look
down 128 feet to the sea
below.

There is a similar
structure, which also
houses a bar, on the
port side.
