PUBLIC AREAS AND
The main shopping area on Regal Princess in on Deck
7 around and forward of the Piazza. These include the
mainstay Princess shops Meridian Bay (jewelery
and accessories); Essence (beauty products); Facets
(luxury items); and Calypso Cove (souvenirs,
Limelight (above left), a promotional counter, is also on Deck 7. Downstairs on Deck 5 Celebrations (above
right) offers gifts for special occasions such as roses, chocolates and flower arrangements.
The Art Gallery (above left) not only offers works of
art for sale but conducts art auctions and lectures. The
Photo Gallery (above right) offers cameras and
accessories in addition to the souvenir photos and
casual portraits taken aboard. A touch screen photo
finder uses face recognition software to help guests
locate their pictures. More formal portraits can be
done in the Platinum Studio (not shown). The
Wedding Chapel (right) is used for renewals of
vows as well as for marriages. It can also be sued as a
conference or private meeting location.
Even though Regal Princess has wifi throughout, the Internet Café (above left) remains a popular venue. Guests can
browse Regal Princess' collection of printed books in the Library (above right).
Regal Princess has a large area dedicated to children and young
passengers. The supervised program is divided into three are
groups 3 to 7 years (Pelicans); 8 to 12 years (Shockwaves) and 13 to
17 years (Remix).
Each age group has its own area. The play areas right and below are
from the Pelicans area. Also in the Pelicans area is a toddlers room
for guests who are under three years old.
