Right and below: To the south of the tender
piers is Little Bay.
Immediately west of the tender cove, is the
Sailboats and Water sports Beach.
Here, all sorts of aqua equipment is
marshaled on th beach for rental by
There is a wide assortment of chairs and
facilities for relaxing by the beach ranging
from sun loungers to private bungalows.
In addition, there is a separate sanctuary
area (below right). This adults-only area
is based upon the sanctuary area concept
on the Princess ships and features
Beyond the Offshore Pavilion is
an area marked on the map as
"Reef." Through its clear water
you can see the rocky bottom.
Not surprisingly, therefore, it is
used for snorkeling.
The next beach is designated on the map
simply as "Swimming Area." It is a large
crescent shaped beach with white sand,
palm trees and rows of sun loungers.
The water around Princess Cays
is very clear. Next to the
developed beaches, the bottom is
sandy but there are rocks.
Next is North Beach. An offshore
observation pavilion that juts out
into the sea marks the end of the
developed sandy beach.
