BARS AND LOUNGES
On the starboard side of the lobby is the Patissrie. In addition to being the lobby bar, it is also a
dining venue with a chart of patstries and sandwiches that is replenished throughout the day.
The Horizon Court is part restaurant, part lounge. It is the ship's buffet restaurant but with
its own bar, bandstand and dance floor, it also serves as a lounge.
Crooners, is a more intimate venue located at the top level of the ship's central atrium. In the evenings,
it features a singer/pianist.
The Wheelhouse Bar is Island Princess' nautical bar. With dark wood
paneling and over-stuffed chairs, it was clearly inspired by the English
gentlemen's clubs. Of course, Princess has British roots - - it was once a
subsidiary of Britain's venerable P&O Line. Indeed, the paintings on the
walls are of historic P&O ocean liners.
During the day, this large room is used for various activities such as
trivia contests and talks by the spa staff. In the evenings, there is live
The Bayou Cafe is both a specialty restaurant and a bar. Although the decor is New Orleans, it also

The Churchill Lounge is Island

Serving the upper decks and pool areas are the Bar and
Grill (above left), the Lido Bar (above right) and the
Lotus Bar (left).
The Explorer's Lounge is a large room that has
its own stage, dance floor and bar. During the day,
it is used for activities such as art auctions and
trivia contests. In the evenings, it has live music and
is also used for theme parties and karaoke.
