Purchasing fine art during a cruise has become quite
popular. Accordingly, Emerald Princess conducts art
auctions (above left) and has an art gallery (above
right) where guests can purchase the works on display.
Another popular purchase is the photographs taken by
the ship's photographers. Therefore, Emerald Princess
has a large area where the photos taken onboard and at
the various ports of call are displayed. The photo
gallery also offers cameras, camera accessories and

Emerald Princess is equipped for group events. The ship has the Hearts and Minds Wedding Chapel
(above left) for weddings and renewal of vow ceremonies. The captain is authorized by the ship's flag
state (Bermuda) to perform marriages but arrangements must be made before the cruise. Businesses
and other groups can utilize the Conference Center (above right) for meetings and classes.
A large area on Emerald Princess is devoted to
passengers under age 18. This area is divided
according to the age groups that make up the
ship's supervised activities programs: Princess
Pelicans (3 to 7 years); Shockwaves (8 to 12) and
Remix (13 to 17).
