The Ramblas, named after the wide central
avenue in Barcelona, Spain, is a combination
restaurant and lounge that seeks to provide a
Spanish atmosphere. It has three areas: a
cocktail lounge and two dining venues, the
Courtyard (tapas) and the Cavern (paella,
calamari, etc). Live Spanish music is featured
in the evenings. There is a cover charge for
The White Room gets its name not from the decor but from
British chef and hotelier Marco Pierre White. It offers high-end
Italian cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. Lunch is informal but
dinner is done with sophisticated style. There is also an area
immediately adjacent for outdoor dining and since the
restaurant is high on the ship, it has spectacular views. There is
a cover charge for this restaurant.
Recalling P&O's long
association with the
orient, East offers a
fusion of Australasian,
Asian and Pan-Pacific
food. For those
interested in food
preparation, the kitchen
is visible to the guests.

Tazzine is a specialty coffee shop
that is located at the base of the ship's
central atrium. Thus, in addition to
coffees, cookies and pastries, Tazzine
provides a vantage point for people
watching. In the evening, Tazzine
becomes a cocktail bar.
Located in the Laguna Pool area on the Lido Deck, Frankie's Ice and Pizza (left) provides pool side snacks while Frankie's Grill (right) offers
Ventura has three main dining rooms, all of which have wood
paneled walls, large paintings of fruit, flowers, or spices and
similar seating arrangements. The Bay Tree (left and above) is
located at the stern of the ship and follows the traditional
shipboard system (called "Club Dining" of having a specifically
reserved table and specified dining times.
Off of the central atrium on Decks 5 and 6 are the Cinnamon Restaurant (left and
above) and the Saffron Restaurant (below left and below). The Cinamon folows a
flexible dining system called Freedom Dining in which guests can book a table anytime
between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The Saffron follows the traditional Club Dining system.
The buffet is divided into two similar sections:. The Waterside, which is a traditional informal buffet open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner; and The Beach House, which is styled as a family restaurant with children's favorites. The latter is open 24 hours.
