Seventeen  is not a teenage club but rather a
fine-dining specialty restaurant located high at the
stern of the ship on Deck Seventeen.  It offers excellent
views both from its window tables and from the al
fresco dining area immediately outside.  The menu
features British favorites.  The style of cooking is
designed not to be overly ornate but rather to allow the
ingredients to shine.
Sindhu is a specialty
restaurant developed by
Michelin-starred celebrity
chef Arul Kochhar.  It
features a  fusion of
Indian and British
cooking.  There is a cover
charge for this
restaurant.
Java is a specialty coffee shop
located at the base of the ship's
Atrium.  In addition to coffees, it
offers cookies and pastries.  In
the evening, Java becomes a
cocktail bar.
Azura also has a  Pizza and Ice Cream stand near the Coral Pool.(not shown).
Azura has three main dining rooms, all of which are
similar in decor save for the art work.  The three dining
rooms also use the same menus and feature P&O's
silver service.

The Oriental Restaurant (left and above) is  located
at the stern of the ship.  For dinner, it follows the
traditional shipboard system (called "Club Dining").
Under this system, each guest is assigned a specific
table during one of two seatings.  The main advantages
of this system are that over the course of the cruise, the
guests come to know their table companions and the
waiter staff comes to know each guest's preferences.

The Peninsular Restaurant  (above) is also on the Club Dining system.  It is also the only one of the main dining rooms that is
generally open for breakfast and lunch.  It is open seating at those times and guests assigned to any of the three main dining
rooms can have breakfast or lunch here.
The Meridian Restaurant (below) operates on a flexible dining system called
"Freedom Dining".  Under this system, guests have no assigned table and can come to dinner at any time the restaurant is open.
If no tables are available, th guest is given a pager to alert him or her when a table becomes free.
Azura's large buffet restaurant is divided into two sections.  The Verona  (above) is self-service during the day but then
transforms into a waiter service family restaurant in the evening, offering such family favourites as pizza and burgers.
 The
Venezia
(below) is the main buffet area.  It remains open 24 hours and is always self-service.
