The Trade Route Shops are a group of shops
offering jewelry, fashion items, duty-free liquor,
souvenir items and sundries. They are located
just aft of the Stardust Theater. (These shops
replaced the Galleria department store, which
was located aft where the Spinnaker Lounge is
Ports of Call, in the Atrium, has a selection of
souvenirs, brand name watches, jewelry and
brand name cosmetics.
Norwegian Star has an extensive organized program for young
passengers as well as a dedicated children's areas. Both the
activities and the areas are grouped by age. The following are
materials handed out on one cruise about the children's programs.
2-5 year olds
6-9 year olds
Tweens (10-12 years)
Teens (13-17 years)
Outdoors there is separate Splash Down Kid's Pool (right).
The area has a space age theme with rocket shaped slides, a
wading pool seats and tables.
