POOLS,
OPEN DECKS
and SPA
SPA
Carnival Pride has three pool areas. Each has a
statue by Italian artist Katia Tasselli depicting
the Greek or Roman god after whom the area is
named.
The Venus Pool has a retractable glass roof
enabling it to be used regardless of the weather
outside. In addition to the pool there is a
whirlpool, a bar, a stage and stations from the
buffet restaurant that service hamburgers and
light fare.
The Apollo Pool is just forward of the Venus Pool and is similarly equipped except that it has no roof and no food
stations.
The Poseidon Pool, at the stern of the ship on
Deck 9, is adults-only as is its accompanying
whirlpool. The area has its own bar and
includes soft ice cream machines.
Left and right: The Waterslide.
Other outdoor facilities include: (above left to right): The Jogging Track, Ping
Pong Tables, Minigolf, the Golf Net, and the Basketball Court (below left).
There are also deck chairs for relaxing in the sun including an adults-only area on Deck
11.
In addition to the facilities
on the top decks, Pride has
an Outdoor Promenade
on Deck 3.
Pride has an extensive spa complex
operated by Steriner. The Spa offers an
array of treatments including massages,
facials, teeth whitening and other services.
(See a menu of offerings that were available
on a past cruise).
The spa facilities include treatment rooms
for individuals and couples (left and below
left), steam rooms and saunas located in the
changing rooms (below center and below
right) and a whirlpool located beneath a
skylight (right).
The third element of the spa complex is the New Look Beauty Salon.
